长期从事碳纳米管、石墨烯等碳纳米材料的可控制备与功能化,及其相关应用研究。作为第一作者和合作者,曾在多个著名杂志上发表文章45篇,其中包括ScienceNature CommunicationsScience Advances, Nano LettersJACSAdvanced Materials, ACS Nano,工作被引用16000余次。主要和参与写作了4部图书,并拥有8个中国专利,1个美国专利。应邀担任Advanced MaterialsEnergy & Environmental ScienceNano Energy, Journal of Materials Chemistry AJournal of Materials Chemistry CCarbon等国际重要学术期刊审稿人。自2014年起,担任Frontiers in Materials期刊编辑,2022年起,担任Responsive MaterialsInorganicsFrontiers in Energy Research期刊编辑
